Grief coaching for
the life loss changed.

Loss can continue shaping your relationships, identity, responsibilities, and major life moments long after other people assume you have moved forward.

Grief coaching gives you a place to talk honestly about what you have been carrying, understand how it may still be affecting your life, and develop practical ways to meet the moments when grief returns.

You do not need to be
in crisis to need support.

You may have lost someone recently. You may have experienced the loss years ago and only now recognize how much it changed you.

My work is especially informed by people who experienced an important loss early in life, including adults who lost a parent young—but you do not need to have lost a parent to work with me.

Grief coaching may be helpful if:

  • You have rarely had space to talk honestly about your loss.

  • Grief appears unexpectedly around milestones, relationships, or family events.

  • You understand what happened but still struggle with what it changed.

  • You are tired of appearing “fine” while carrying more than people realize.

  • You want support that respects your grief without trying to fix or rush it.

What our work can help you do

Together, we can:

  • Put language around experiences you have carried quietly.

  • Understand how loss may still be affecting your present life.

  • Recognize grief ambushes and prepare for difficult moments.

  • Explore the identity, relationship, and family changes that followed your loss.

  • Develop ways of supporting yourself without minimizing what happened.

You will never be expected to make your grief sound better, cleaner, or easier than it is.

THE CARRIED FORWARD FRAMEWORK

A map for the life grief changed.

The Carried Forward Framework is built around five phases: Named, Heard, Reclaimed, Reframed, and Reconnected.

These are not stages you must complete in order. Grief does not move in a straight line. We use the framework to understand where you are and what might help now.

PHASE 1

Named

We name what happened, who or what you lost, and how life changed because of it—including the quieter losses that followed.

PHASE 2

Heard

You have space to say the honest things without being corrected, rushed, fixed, or asked to make them easier for someone else to hear.

PHASE 3

Reclaimed

You begin to understand grief as part of your story, not something you must hide, perform, explain away, or apologize for.

PHASE 4

Reframed

We explore what loss changed without allowing it to become the only thing that defines you.

PHASE 5

Reconnected

You begin reconnecting with yourself, your relationships, your values, and the life you are building now—not without grief, but with grief in its rightful place.

Two ways to begin.

Complimentary 45-Minute Grief Map Session

A low-pressure conversation to talk about what you have been carrying, identify where grief is showing up now, and consider what kind of support may be helpful.

This is a conversation, not a commitment to ongoing coaching.

Individual 60-Minute Grief Coaching Session

A focused coaching session for someone who wants dedicated time to explore a particular grief experience, milestone, relationship, question, or difficult moment.

Price: $175

If ongoing support feels appropriate, three-session and 90-day coaching options are available after we have met.

Coaching is not therapy.

Grief coaching is forward-focused support. It can help you understand your experience, recognize patterns, prepare for grief ambushes, and develop practical ways to care for yourself.

It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, clinical treatment, or crisis care. You may work with me while also working with a licensed therapist when both kinds of support are appropriate.

You do not need to
know exactly what to say.

You can arrive with a specific concern, a story you have told many times, or no clear idea where to begin.

We will start with what feels most present and move at your pace.
